Becoming a Patient

The experts at Care Endodontics work with your dentist to give you the best treatment available.

With a referral from your dentist, we can provide specialized endodontic care to treat deep-set decay, infections, damage to teeth, and more. Except in emergency situations, you will need a referral before making an appointment. In an emergency where an infection or injury is making it difficult to work, sleep, or do everyday activities, we can also provide direct emergency interventions.

If you are a dentist near Cerritos, CA in need of experienced, specialized endodontic service for your patients, we can help. Contact us to learn more about our full range of endodontic services, and to arrange an appointment for your patients. We’re happy to provide the highest level of treatment and care for all types of endodontic conditions.

Emergency Services

We offer emergency services without the need for a referral.

Most of our appointments require a referral from a local dentist, however, this is not always possible when an emergency arises. In some cases, an advanced tooth infection can cause intense pain, and make it difficult to take part in even the simplest activities; or, you may have experienced an injury that has heavily damaged a tooth or multiple teeth and is also causing intense pain. In these cases, we can offer emergency treatment without a referral.

Our emergency interventions include root canal treatments and antibiotics to treat advanced infections, repairs or corrections to dental implants, and other medications and procedures. The endodontist will explain any procedures or medication that you need, so you will know what to expect and how to move forward. We strive to provide the most minimally invasive treatment possible, so you can heal faster and return to your regular routine.

What to Expect at Your Visit

We understand that undergoing dental work can be a worrisome process. At Care Endodontics, we will do everything we can to make your visit comfortable. Whether you are visiting as a part of a regularly scheduled appointment or you are visiting for emergency services, our staff will take great care to explain the procedures you need and make sure you understand the process. When you visit, it’s helpful to bring your recent dental x-rays, if available. If you have a referral, we can get these from your dentist. You’ll also need to provide the details of your medical history, including the medications you are taking. If you have dental insurance, bring your insurance card. Patients under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian present. If you are having surgery, you’ll need a friend or family member to take you home after the procedure.

Your dental insurance provider may require preauthorization for certain services before you receive them. In these cases, you may need to visit the office before the procedure to receive authorization.

What You’ll Need:

  • Dental X-rays from the last six months, if available
  • Details on your medical and dental history
  • List of medications you are taking
  • A parent or guardian for minors
  • A friend or family member to take you home, if you are having surgery

Dental Insurance Plans We Accept

Dental insurance can help to make your endodontic care more affordable.

Care Endodontics accepts most major PPO insurance policies. We also accept some HMO insurance plans, though these will require a referral from a dentist. PPO insurance policies do not always require a referral, especially for emergencies.

If you are not sure about what your insurance covers, or how much your plan covers, contact us. We’re happy to help make these services affordable for you. We also offer affordable payment plans during COVID-19. We work with major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, and Care Credit.

We accept most dental insurances. If you do not see yours on the list, please give us a call. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to check for you.
